Why English?

I wanted to study English because I love how broad the field is. Some of my assignments consist of me reading some of my favorite authors and then getting to talk about how I perceive the work.

Clubs and Organizations:

I am involved in Bully’s Bards and I am apart of Alpha Chi Omega serving as Vice President Intellectual Development

Awards:

  • I have received the Stacey Goff English Scholarship for the past two years, and hopefully the next two years as well!

Hobbies:

  • I love to paint and draw whenever I have the chance too. I’m guilty of my notebooks being filled with doodles. I also love to wind down at the end of the day with a cup of tea and watch whatever show I’m binging at the time!

Favorite books read for class:

  • The Wife of Bath’s Tale by Chaucer

  • Mrs. Dalloway by Virigina Wolf

  • Frankenstein by Mary Shelley
