  • I received the Howell and Elizabeth Gwin Scholarship for this past year. I have also been on the President’s List since my first semester in fall of 2020.

Hobbies:

  • I love to write short stories and novel manuscripts, take long walks around campus, crochet gifts for family members and friends, play the piano, guitar, or ukulele and sing with my fiancé, travel to new countries and cities with my family, and hammock at the Noxubee Wildlife Refuge when the weather is nice.

Favorite books read for class:

  • This is a difficult choice for me, as I have loved almost every book I’ve read in a class so far! My personal favorites have been Twelfth Night in Dr. Vivier’s early Shakespeare class and Mrs. Dalloway and Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit in Dr. Marsh’s British and Irish novel class.
