Richard Wolf (B.A., Yale; M.A., Ph.D., University of Chicago) teaches British literature (especially for the period 1660-1800), world literature, honors composition, and the department's introduction to graduate studies. His publications include various articles on the 3rd Earl of Shaftesbury and on eighteenth-century comedy. He is currently working on a book on the fate of Restoration comedy in the eighteenth century and writing a series of plays for children. In addition to satire, comedy, and theatre, he is particularly interested in art, music, and East Asian culture. |
